Sports Conditioning & Circuit Training

The six week session runs on Thursdays from 4:30pm-6pm starting January 14, 2010. Sessions will be instructed by Salem Athletics Club at the Eclipse Teen Center.

Open to all Eclipse Teen Center members. Non-members can attend at a cost of $5 per class.

In 2009, teens had the opportunity to participate in the new fitness program. The pilot program run by aerobics instructors Erin Ryan, Michelle Dillon and Krysten Learned-Magoon, focused on cardiovascular and strength training. The six week program offered two separate classes, with twenty-three participants. Upon completion of the program, participants received a $10 gift certificate to Bob’s Stores, and a membership at the Salem Athletic Club. Those with perfect attendance were entered into a raffle for a year membership to the Salem Athletic Club.

Classes consist of seven stations of Cardio and Strength training including.:
Cardio
Plyometrics
Resistance Bands
Sports Conditioning
Core Training(Abdominal Muscles)
