Each year at the Club’s Annual Dinner, several members of the community are recognized for their outstanding support and dedication to youth of Salem. These awards include:

Man of the Year Richard P. McCoy Service Award President’s Award Volunteer of the Year Marketing & Communications Award Stewardship Award

The evening culminates with the announcement of the Club’s Youth of the Year. The Youth of the Year program begins with the selection of “Youth of the Month.” From this pool of candidates, three finalists are selected and are required to complete a series of essays and interview with a panel of judges. One individual is then chosen to represent the Club as its Youth of the Year. Each of the finalists receives a savings bond donated by Enterprise Bank.

Marketing & Communications Award - The Ninety Nine Restaurant of Salem for their work to help promote the name and mission of the Boys and Girls Club
Man of the Year Award - George "Sonny" Tylus. This award is presented to a Board Member or member of the community who through service, support and dedication has made the greatest impact on the success of the Boys & Girls Club of Salem
President’s Award - George J. Khoury. This award is presented to an individual or business at the discretion of the President of the Board for significant support and guidance on behalf of the Club
Volunteer Award - Sean Coyle for outstanding volunteer service

Board of Governors - established to recognize and honor a distinguished group of individuals whose unique commitment to the Club philosophy continues to enhance the Club image and prestige throughout our community. The individuals recognized with this honor have all made unique sacrifices and displayed long-time dedication to the mission of the Boys & Girls Club. Thousands of youth and families of Salem have benefited from their efforts. This year's inductees: Tony Foglia, Bill Corcoran, Howie Glynn, Emmett Horgan, Ray Smith, Nick Moschilli, Joseph Delahunty and posthumously, Attorney James Sayer
